Individuals can help our community by donating and serving. You can help at one of our donation sites where
items will be organized and packaged. You can also help by delivering groceries and necessities to those most in need.
Please complete the registration form and one of our team leaders will be in contact with you soon with specific opportunities to serve.
By volunteering to donate, serve at distribution center or by delivering items, you are engaging in essential activity.
You will receive a response to confirm your email and then you will also receive a volunteer letter to have on hand that verifies
your volunteer involvement if you should be stopped or asked.
Each distribution site is required to follow all CDC, state and local recommendation for maintaining clean and safe space for food and
package handling. We are only spreading HOPE. If you are concerned, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss those safety precautions.

VOLUNTEER FROM HOME OPPORTUNITIES

HOME-SEWN FACE MASKS
Organization: Horizon Goodwill Industries & The Arc Of Washington County, Inc.
Project Details: Help with an immediate need for face masks for local agencies including the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, Turning Point Homeless Outreach Team and more.
Horizon Goodwill is providing all the materials needed for the fabric masks and the Arc will be cutting the fabric & materials and sorting them into packets for volunteers!

PEN PALS FOR SENIORS
Organization: Hagerstown Housing Authority
Project Details: Community members are invited to send encouraging and friendly notes, poems, drawings, and stories to people in our community who might be happy to read something from a friendly pen. If you write a note or send something uplifting the Hagerstown Housing Authority will deliver it to the units where your letters will be received and appreciated.

Organization: Meritus Health
